Delonghi Esam 6600 – The Best Super Automatic Home Espresso Maker
At the time I saw espresso machine for the first time, I wanted one with the most fantastic features for the money. The only way to know what you want in a machine is to compare what some models have and other models don’t, and then prioritize your wish list. In the end after comparing Cuisinart, Lello, and Gaggia, I ended up with the Delonghi Esam 6600 Gran Dama.
I only had one previous espresso machine, and I bought it when I was very new to the coffee game, and I spent very little for it. I was still good but quite much featureless as far as that end of it goes. I found it too expensive to visit my local coffee shop on a regular basis, so I figured I’d invest that money instead on a home espresso machine. I am so glad that I did finally get a nice full featured machine like the Delonghi Esam6600 Gran Dama for my home espresso, latte, and cappuccino.
Here are a few things you’ll want to look for in an espresso maker for your home use:

- a built in burr grinder with multiple grind choices
- a milk container for frothing and steaming
- fully programmable
- warming plate
- several choice of coffee size (large, medium, or small)
- dishwasher safe parts
- an extremely stylish sleek design and compact size
- even heat distribution throughout beverages
- a super automatic shut off and built in clock and timer
- you can choose coffee brew strength
The investment into the Delonghi Esam6600 Gran Dama paid off, and although I have not used some of the other models first hand, I am very happy with my purchase. The money which I saved from buying coffee house baverages is worth to buy a convenience of making my own at home any time I like.
