This website is an online database for old photographs, mostly in
black and white and sepia.
It is a free-to-view online "photo album", there is no charge
for anything on this site.
There is a wide range of photos/pics such as animals,
military, formal
portraits, landscape,
postcards, adverts
etc.
Most of the photos have been obtained from second-hand book shops,
markets, jumble/rummage sales....
I use a Canon A4 scanner set at 200 dpi, average width of the "finished"
photo is about 640 pixels.
